Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a Home Care Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to serve the Davis and Weber County area, with occasional outlying regions. Must have at least one year of IV infusion experience in a home care setting and a current Utah RN license.

• Utah RN license, CPR certification, TB test or chest X-ray (may obtain after hire).
• Valid driver with reliable vehicle and automobile insurance.
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull as needed with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful care to client based on personalized Plan of Care.
• Monitor and track changes in client conditions and needs.
• Proactively updates client/family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns.

CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE - RN:

• Phlebotomy in Peds and/or Adults
• IV starts in Peds and/or Adults
• PICC lines
• Ports
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in IV Infusions in a Home Care setting.
• Minimum 6 (six) months experience of IVIG infusion preferred
• Hemophiliacs and Factor administration
• Enzyme administration

REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CARE INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE - RN:

• Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Utah
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (may obtain after hire)
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and reliable vehicle
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
