Job summary

Assisting Hands of Dedham is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our award-winning team. You will provide in-home support, bathing and grooming assistance, meal prep, mobility help, and companionship to clients in the Dedham area. Training and RN supervisor support are provided to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English required.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience welcome.
• Previous home care experience is a plus but not required; kindness matters most.
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused approach.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to support dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise, or walking as needed.
• Prepare and serve meals ensuring healthy options for clients.
• Provide medication reminders; training will be provided.
• Offer companionship and engaging activities to brighten each day.
• Show enthusiasm, eagerness to learn, and commitment to high-quality care.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment for clients.
• Occasional client transportation; miles reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; your support helps our clients maintain dignity and comfort

Requirements

• Proficiency in English
