Job summary

A local home care agency in Greensboro seeks compassionate caregivers to assist clients in their homes. The ideal candidates will help with daily activities, ensure client independence, and provide companionship. A flexible schedule is offered for both full-time and part-time roles. Candidates must have CNA certification or PCA experience, as well as a high school diploma. This role includes competitive pay and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be vaccinated.
• Must have a TB test (upon hire).
• Must be a CNA on the NC Registry or an experienced PCA.
• Hoyer experience is optional.
• Dementia training or experience is preferred.
• Must pass a nationwide background check.
• Must wear scrubs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing and dressing.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Remind clients to take their medications.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Offer housekeeping assistance.
• Serve as a companion to clients.

Your Role

Assist an individual so they can remain independent in their home. Your responsibilities will include:

• Aiding with bathing and dressing
• Preparing delicious meals
• Reminding clients to take their medications
• Providing transportation to appointments and errands
• Providing housekeeping assistance
• Being a friend, companion, and source of comfort

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Be vaccinated
• Have a TB test (upon hire)
• Be a CNA on the NC Registry or an experienced PCA
• Have Hoyer experience (optional)
• Have dementia training or experience (preferred)
• Pass a background check nationwide
• Have a high school diploma
• Have a clean driving record and current DL
• Wear scrubs
