Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support clients in the Greater Boston West area with daily living activities, meal prep, and mobility assistance. You will provide compassionate in-home care, including dementia care support, while maintaining a clean, safe home environment.

Flexible scheduling options, paid training, and a referral program are offered. The role is in-person with shifts including day, evening, overnight, and weekend slots to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 6 months of home care experience or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Medication reminders and documentation.
• Support mobility and-based exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Assist with dementia care and cognitive support.
