Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Davenport, IA is seeking a Home Care Aide II. You will provide personal care and support and assist with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• CNA Certification/75 hour nurse aide course required.
• State of Iowa CNA certification or Direct Care Worker Registry; second state within 6 months.

• BLS certification completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to patients as assigned on care plan under RN supervision.
• Perform homemaking tasks as assigned.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as directed.

General Requirements

• Licensure/Registration: CNA Certification/75 hour nurse aide course State of Iowa or Direct Care Worker Registry State of Illinois, second state required within 6 months of hire; Driver's License; Auto Insurance-Genesis minimum limits required
• Special Training: Basic Life Support completed during orientation; Employer provided 13 hour Pre-Service Education to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Less than 1 year experience required.
