Job summary
Golden Years Home Care seeks compassionate caregivers certified as HCA to serve seniors in their homes in Sacramento. You will ensure safety, tailor activities to client interests, and support daily living needs with dignity.
Requirements include 18+, 1 year caregiving, TB test or X-ray, Live Scan clearance, vaccination status, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Training is available to obtain the HCA certification.
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and have at least 1 year of caregiving experience.
- CA Home Care Aide (HCA) certification can be obtained through us.
- Fingerprint clearance (Live Scan) and a current TB test or clear X-ray.
- Fully vaccinated or with a vaccine exemption.
- Willing to travel up to 25 miles if needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, light housework, and meal preparation.
- Offer shopping, errands, and companionship to clients.
- Assist with incontinence and dementia care, transfers, and ADLs.
