Interim HealthCare is the Chico, CA home care leader seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to help seniors stay safely in their homes. Shifts include Mon-Sat 8a-4p, and some Fri-Sun 4p-8p; 8a-5p fill-ins are possible.
This role emphasizes dignity, respect, and personalized support in a friendly, office-driven team environment. We require 6+ months caregiving experience and the ability to pass DOJ/FBI background checks and TB tests; a negative drug screen is required.

- Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background clearance
- Able to get a negative TB test
- Must pass a comprehensive drug screen
- Able to use your smartphone to clock in and out / document care activities
- CA Driver's License and Transportation
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized attention to maintain or attain the client's highest well-being physically, mentally and socially.
- Transfer and assist with ambulation using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
- Follow the client's care plan and communicate observations to support care planning.
- Attend to grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinence, toileting, transfer and mobility needs.
- Assist with medication reminders for client self-administration.
- Maintain comfort, privacy and dignity; interact warmly to foster a caring environment.
- Communicate effectively with visitors and families.
- Perform homemaking tasks: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, dishes, laundry, cleaning bathrooms.
- Dementia experience helpful.

We are seeking professional, upbeat, and reliable HCA’s to provide care for our clients (shifts range from 2 to 12 hours) and helping them remain safely in their homes.
- Provide individualized attention, which encourages each client'sability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and social well-being.
- Transfer and assist with client'sambulationusing proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.
- Be knowledgeable of the client's individualized care planand provide support accordingly. Contribute to the care planning process by communicating specific information and observations of the client'sneeds and preferences.
- Attend to the individual needs of client which may include assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communicating, or other needs in keeping with the individuals' care requirements.
- Assist client with medication reminders (that the client self-administers) to ensure all medications are taken.
- Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each client in the delivery ofservices provided to them. Interact with client in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the client'svisitors andfamilies.
