Job summary

Mildreds Helping Hands LLC is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to support clients in their homes, following individualized care plans and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor health conditions, and build trusting relationships. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus; CPR certification and a valid driver's license are required. You will document observations and communicate effectively with the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year prior professional experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, and wheelchairs.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
