Job summary

EVENS HOME CARE SERVICE LLC in Georgia seeks a compassionate Home Care Aide to work closely with patients in their homes, following personalized care plans. You will support daily living activities, monitor conditions, and communicate with supervisors to ensure high-quality, respectful care.

The ideal candidate has HH Aide training, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive home environment for clients with varying needs.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year prior professional experience preferred, but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report to the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Give medications and immunizations as prescribed and directed.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities to promote well-being.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.
