Job summary

Caring Hands Homecare is seeking a Home Care Aide to join our team. You will work directly with patients in their homes, following a one-on-one care plan and building strong relationships to support overall wellbeing.

The role focuses on detailed care, strong communication, and reliable service. Prior home health experience is a plus, and a driver’s license is preferred for travel between clients.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year prior professional experience.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, transfers, and mobility.
• Care for patients by managing daily chores, personal care, and home cleanliness.
• Maintain care notes and report observations to supervisor.
• Engage patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert through conversations or reading aloud.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Encourage participation in exercises or activities to promote wellbeing.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Give medications and immunizations
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
