Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Solana Beach is seeking a dependable male caregiver to support a gentleman with early-stage dementia. You will help with morning routines, mobility with a walker, and offer companionship tied to his love of sports.

This part-time role features 2-hour shifts on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00am to 12:00pm with occasional longer shifts; compensation is $30 per hour for these shifts, with weekly pay and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Male caregiver, physically strong and comfortable with transfers.
• Experience with dementia care preferred.
• Great conversationalist with sports interest.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Patient, compassionate and dependable.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Morning routine support: showers, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Fall precautions and mobility support (walker).
• Companionship with sports-related conversations.
