Job summary

Nurse Next Door San Mateo is seeking a Home Care Aide for one-on-one in-home support in San Anselmo. We offer full-time and part-time schedules with reliable hours, competitive hourly pay with shift differentials, and a robust training ladder from HHA to CNA to Nursing pathways.

Our teams are supported by supervisors who know you by name, with PTO, mileage reimbursement, and recognition programs to reward your dedication.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited HHA program (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of paid home-health, hospice, or facility experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable updating digital care logs.
• CPR certification (or willingness to earn within 30 days).
• Genuine desire to foster trust and dignity for clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized daily living assistance: safe transfers and mobility support.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and maintaining a healthy home environment.
• Support medication reminders and basic vitals or observations.
• Engage clients with mind-body activities and social engagement.
• Document care notes and share changes with RN or Care Supervisor.
