Job summary

The Rouse Estate is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide compassionate, in-home care, helping clients with personal care, daily tasks, and mobility as needed in northwest Pennsylvania.

The role emphasizes dignity, companionship, and timely reporting to the Home Care Administrator.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Must possess a valid PA driver’s license.
• Must be willing and able to pass drug/alcohol screening and complete physical.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ homes to provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, etc.).
• Assist with meal preparation and housekeeping and answer client calls promptly.
• Provide companionship and assist with daily living activities and communication tasks.
• Ensure the dignity of all clients is preserved and report changes to the Home Care Administrator.
• Collaborate with the team to add value to job accomplishments.

What does a RouseHome Care Aide do?

• Traveling to clients’ homes to provide hands-on assistance with activities such as bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, ambulation, transferring, bed-making, minor treatments and incontinency care, etc.
• Assist with meal preparation and housekeeping and answer client calls promptly.
• Provide companionship and assist clients with daily living activities such as distributing newspapers, writing letters, placing phone calls, etc.
• Ensure that the dignity of all clients is preserved.
• Report any changes in resident’s physical or behavioral conditions to Home Care Administrator.
• Enhances home care department by working together as a team to accept ownership for tasks while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
