Job summary

Right at Home Hilton Head/Savannah in Olympia, WA is seeking Caregivers, CNAs, and HCAs to assist clients at home with mobility, hygiene, meals, and transportation. You will provide respectful, person-centered care and make a meaningful difference in daily living.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to lift/move 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Pass a state and national background check.
• CNA/Home Health Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mobility assistance: safely helping with transfers and positioning in the home.
• Homemaking: maintain a clean, safe living environment including light housekeeping.
• Nutritional support: plan and prepare meals per dietary instructions and hydration goals.
• Transportation & advocacy: assist with errands and appointments, provide reliable transport.
• Personal hygiene care: assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and shaving per need.
• Medication management: provide reminders and monitor changes in condition.
• Specialized dementia care: memory care techniques and cognitive engagement.
• Companion care: provide engaging activities and meaningful social interaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Mobility Assistance:Expertly assisting with safe patient handling, transferring, and positioning throughout the home.

• Homemaking Excellence:Maintaining a safe, sanitary environment through light housekeeping, including vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, laundry, and linen changes.

• Nutritional Support:Meal planning and preparation according to specialized dietary instructions and hydration goals.

• Transportation & Advocacy:Providing reliable transportation and support services for errands, grocery shopping, and essential medical appointments.

• Personal Hygiene Care:Dignified assistance with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and shaving/perineal care.

• Medication Management:Providing timely medication reminders and monitoring for changes in condition.

• Specialized Dementia Care:Implementing memory care techniques and cognitive engagement for clients with Alzheimer’s or related dementias.

CaregiverQualifications and Skills:
