Job summary

Right at Home in Kentucky is actively seeking Caregivers, CNAs and HHAs to join the A-team and improve quality of life for clients in their homes. The role offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling and paid training, with opportunities for referrals bonuses and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, errands, medication reminders, and dementia care, along with companionship and support for daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Help with transferring/moving client within the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, beds, laundry, bathroom.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support ROM exercises and dementia care.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance
