Job summary

Right at Home is hiring caregivers, CNAs and HHAs to support clients in their own homes with daily living activities and compassionate care. You will help with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, errands and mobility.

The role emphasizes companionship, safety, and adherence to care plans, with opportunities for growth and professional development, while supporting the client’s independence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA, Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Perform light housekeeping in the client’s home.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving and medication reminders.
• Assistance with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care and companionship activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:
