Job summary

Right at Home is seeking Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs for in-home support in Bowling Green, OH. You will assist clients with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. Background check and basic certifications may be required; CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English as needed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) within the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishes, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support ROM exercises.
• Provide dementia care and companionship activities.

Skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Reading & writing in English

Valid driver’s license

Background check

CNA/HHA/PCA certification preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• Obtain BCI (Finger Prints)
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
