Shop LC is seeking an Assistant Buyer - Home to oversee buying strategies for our home product brands in a fast-paced TV retail environment. The role requires strong forecasting, vendor sourcing, and product development capabilities to drive sales and optimize inventory.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in fashion, 2 years in a high-volume buying role, and the ability to travel internationally. This is a full-time position based in Austin, TX.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion or related field is required.

Aufgaben

• Forecast trends for home products with focus on color, style, and fashion.
• Source vendors and work with buying teams to purchase items for peak periods.
• Develop new product and display ideas to increase customer interest.
• Analyze past sales to anticipate future product needs per the Budget.
• Minimize old stock and source new products.
• Coordinate life cycle of a product from sourcing to finished item.
• Develop new products for home product lines.
• Maintain a strong US supplier base for domestic products.
• Manage OTB with strong analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (minimum 1 trip per quarter to India and China).
• Source domestic vendors for drop ship program.
