Ollie is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support sourcing, selection, and procurement of in-store products. You will drive the buying process to secure the best products at optimal prices and coordinate with vendors to optimize assortment.

The role requires travel to trade shows, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. A related bachelor’s degree is preferred and a full-time schedule is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Ability to travel to trade shows, including overnight stays.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills; communicate with team, guests, and vendors.
• Organize and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented; able to analyze and retain data.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsabilidades

• Support all aspects of buying to secure best products at best prices.
• Collaborate with vendors to assist buying process.
• Attend trade shows to stay informed on new products.
• Research products and market pricing for placement of goods.
• Recommend selling prices, deals, and buys.
• Develop allocation plans to boost departmental sales.

Educación
