Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking hands-on Home Building Team Members to join our production teams in the Hamilton, AL area. You will be part of a crew that constructs homes following prints, specs and building codes while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, climb, and lift at least 50lbs
• Must be able to read architectural/engineering drawings
• Must communicate clearly with teammates
• Must meet attendance requirements and be available for shift start
• Bending, squatting, and stooping are required, with periodic lifting

Responsibilities

• Safety: Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe per OSHA regulations.
• Productivity: Work in a team environment to produce products that meet quality standards and productivity goals.
• Stewardship: Protect company assets, report needed maintenance, and keep area clean and orderly.
• Planning: Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan manufacturing activities and communicate shortages or issues.
• Attendance: Meet attendance requirements and be ready for start of shift
