Job summary

Scotbilt Homes, a division of Champion Home Builders, Inc., is seeking a full-time Production Worker to join our production team in Millen, GA. The role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing and performing quality work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have exteriors experience, including siding and roofing with architectural shingles, and demonstrate a strong work ethic, ability to read blueprints, and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school education: less than high school or up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Manufacturing/modular housing experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Reads and uses a tape measure
• Reads blueprints and orders
• Communicates well with coworkers
• Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

Although there are a wide variety of opportunities available, there is a specific need for candidates with Exteriors experience, including Siders and Roofers who are experienced with architectural shingles.

Summary: Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner.
