Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Production Worker to join the Exteriors department at our Claysburg, PA facility. You will work on the production line building manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-moving environment.

The role requires basic reading of blueprints, tape measures, and the ability to use hand, air, and electrical tools. Candidates should be prepared to work in a manufacturing setting and comply with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the Exteriors Department, including roofing, sheeting, soffit, facia, siding, windows, and doors.
• Keeps the area neat and clean.
• Reads and uses a tape measure; reads blueprints and orders.

Summary:

Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned. Specifically, roofing, sheeting, soffit, facia, siding, windows, and doors within the Exteriors Department.
• Keeps the area neat and clean.
• Reads and uses a tape measure
• Reads blueprints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers
• Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
