Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is hiring for a production line role on our fast-paced manufacturing floor. You will join a team building manufactured housing components, reading blueprints and orders, and using hand, air, and electrical tools.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and orders to build manufactured housing components.
• Communicate well with coworkers to maintain a steady production pace.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Read a tape measure to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the production area.
• Keeps area neat and clean and ensures safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and orders to assemble parts.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets.

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.

Keeps area neat and clean.

Read and use a tape measure

Read blueprints and orders

Communicate well with coworkers

Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

Qualifications

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired but not required.
