Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes under physician supervision. Home settings include single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care.

The SLP evaluates and treats language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those needing alternative communication methods.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in patients' homes under supervision of an attending physician.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, and voice disorders.
• Work with patients who have had strokes or progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease or dementia.
