Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in special education or related field.
• BCBA certification.
• At least two years relevant experience.
• Alternatives approved by the Executive Director per state/federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement procedures for screening incoming students.
• Complete intake process and provide written evaluations and recommendations.
• Consult with districts regarding student/family needs and services.
• Provide consultation and support to ACCEPT programs.
• Liaise between ACCEPT and districts regarding home-based services.
• Attend Team Meetings to report on Home-Based services.
• Develop strategies to implement goals and address behavioral issues at home/school.
• Coordinate school/home program carry-over and consistency.
• Document progress and write progress reports.
• Supervise home-based staff.
• Screen incoming referrals.
• Develop goals/objectives for educational/behavioral needs.
• Recruit, hire, and train Home-Based staff.
• Review and approve home-based staff timesheets.
• Consult with Director of Special Education on home/school issues.
• Schedule staff in home/school placements.
• Conduct professional development workshops.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
