Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. in New York seeks a flexible Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric therapy across home, daycare, and community settings. You will implement IFSP-based plans and coach families to help children reach developmental goals.

The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $1,000, schedule flexibility, and mentorship from clinical educators, serving infants and toddlers in Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster counties.

Qualifications

• New York OT license required.
• Early Intervention experience or equivalent.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services and consult with family members and other professionals.
• Follow IFSP and develop methodologies to reach each child’s developmental goals.
• Coach family members and caregivers on intervention strategies for home and community settings.
• Provide services in homes, daycare centers, and other community settings.
• Ensure progress generalization and active caregiver participation through coaching and team communication.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of information (HIPAA/state/federal).
