The role performs examinations, develops diagnoses and treatment plans, orders tests, prescribes therapies, and coordinates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, while maintaining thorough documentation and supporting goals of care.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient examinations and evaluations independently
• Develops diagnoses and treatment plans
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests
• Prescribes medications and treatments
• Provides ongoing clinical follow-up
• Maintains timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary care team
• Assists patients and families in clarifying goals of care
