Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians in Washington, DC, for a direct hire position. Technicians will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facilities utilizing electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent professional experience, along with two to five years of mechanical experience. Technicians will work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, and will access a company van and tools. Opportunities for skill development through on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of mechanical experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry required.
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements.
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Utilize technology to access and complete work orders.
