Job summary

AtWork Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Washington, DC, to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of commercial properties. This role includes performing repairs and inspections on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, responding to tenant service requests, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and customer service skills. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial building maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• CFC Universal Certification preferred or attainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance and document work in the work order system.
• Inspect buildings and grounds; identify and resolve safety or maintenance issues.
• Respond to tenant service requests and emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain fire and life safety systems, including alarms and emergency equipment.
• Perform general building upkeep such as lighting and minor carpentry.
• Support seasonal operations and participate in an on-call rotation.
