LEAP (Life Enrichment Advancing People) is seeking Shared Living Providers in Franklin, Oxford, Androscoggin, Somerset, and Kennebec Counties, Maine. Providers operate as independent contractors, receiving a daily stipend and ongoing support from LEAP.

Responsibilities include offering a safe home, assisting with daily living, promoting independence, and helping individuals engage with their community. Background screening and a suitable home are required, with training provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• All members of the household must pass background screening.
• Private bedroom meeting safety and program requirements.
• Valid Maine driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Commitment to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe, welcoming home environment.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Encourage independence, personal choice, and self-determination.
• Support community involvement and meaningful relationships.
• Assist with appointments, transportation, and access to resources.
• Follow individualized support plans and maintain required documentation.
• Communicate with LEAP's Shared Living team and case managers.
• Maintain compliance with MaineCare requirements and training.
