The Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) Staff Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological care to Veterans enrolled in HBPC at the Richard L Roudebush VAMC. The position emphasizes biopsychosocial assessment, evidence-based therapies, and tele-mental health when clinically indicated.

Required: doctoral degree in psychology, full licensure, and at least two years of professional psychology experience with geriatric Veterans and home-based care.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology from APA/PCSAS/CPA accredited program.
• Licensure: full, current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the United States or DC.
• At least two years of professional psychology experience; at least one year at the GS-12 level.

Responsabilités

• Provide psychological care to Veterans in Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) in collaboration with the HBPC Team.
• Conduct psychodiagnostics and evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatments in patients' homes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation to HBPC staff.
