Job summary

Maryland Coalition of Families seeks a Home-Based Supervisor to lead the Family Peer Support Specialists across Maryland. The role requires lived caregiver experience, a Bachelor's degree, and supervisory background.

You will coach staff, conduct QA, coordinate training, and ensure contract outcomes with the Program Manager, while supporting families in behavioral health. This full-time position offers equipment, mileage reimbursement, paid training, and comprehensive benefits, including PTO,

Qualifications

• Lived experience as a primary caregiver of a youth or young adult with a behavioral health disorder.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Prior supervisory experience in the human services field.
• Must live in Harford County or Baltimore County/City.
• Strong organizational, written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented; ability to interpret and use data to drive decisions.
• Travel statewide; valid Maryland driver’s license and access to vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day programmatic supervision to Family Peer Support Specialists and work in assigned region.
• Meet at least every other week one-to-one with each direct report for coaching.
• Conduct QA audits of family engagement records; provide feedback and training needs.
• Lead peer consultation groups to foster collaboration and support.
• Oversee training for new direct reports and orientation tasks.
• Collaborate with Program Manager to ensure funds are spent per contract guidelines.
• Lead annual performance appraisals in partnership with HR.
