Job summary

Energy Sciences seeks a results-driven energy engineer to join a team focused on reducing energy use for commercial and industrial clients. The role combines technical analysis, site surveys, and client-facing reporting to identify opportunities and drive savings.

You will perform energy and economic analyses, review assessments, and collaborate with customers to develop projects and deliver presentations. Travel up to 25% in the Greater Philadelphia area is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in energy assessments and commissioning/retro-commissioning-related work.
• CEM, CEA, CMVP, EBCP, and PE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Perform energy and economic analyses.
• Review energy assessments, opportunities, and calculations.
• Collaborate with customers, assisting with technical questions, and developing projects.
• Preparing reports and delivering presentations.
• Conducting site surveys and facilities assessments.
• Collaborating with other technical team members to teach and learn energy engineering fundamentals.
• Support customers with utility energy efficiency programs.
• Travel time up to 25%.
