Atlantic Street Center is seeking an Early Learning Specialist to provide home-based early learning services to families in Seattle. You will support parent-child interactions and early literacy within a culturally responsive framework.

The role emphasizes documentation, collaboration with the team, and flexible scheduling, including occasional evenings. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience working with young children and families in nonprofit settings; diverse backgrounds valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based early learning services to families.
• Promote positive parent-child relationships and early literacy development.
• Support family engagement through culturally responsive and relationship-based approaches.
• Maintain documentation and complete required reports.
• Collaborate with team members to support program implementation and service consistency.
• Travel to client homes and community locations as needed.
• Complete administrative tasks, including timesheets and expense reports.
