Job summary

ECS4Kids in Florida seeks a Home-Based Services professional to provide training and support to families, helping them use the home as a learning environment for children in Head Start programs.

Responsibilities include home visits, family engagement, and collaboration with center staff to ensure children’s health, development and well-being. Requires HS diploma and CDA or higher credentials; bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
• Strong communication with families and documentation.
• Understanding of Head Start standards and home-based program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll families for Head Start home-based services.
• Conduct minimum one home visit per week per family with 1.5-hour sessions.
• Plan and implement home visits with engaging learning activities for children.
• Support families in creating learning environments at home.
• Document assessments and coordinate with supervisor on child development progress.
• Maintain safety, health and hygiene standards.
