Job summary

ECS4Kids in Georgia is seeking a Center Support to help the daily operations of the Head Start center. You will assist in classrooms, support kitchens and janitorial tasks as applicable, and collaborate with staff and families to create a warm, safe learning environment.

The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate activities, positive guidance, and maintaining health and safety procedures. Training includes TB screening, First Aid/CPR, and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Head Start standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classrooms following the day's planned activities.
• Support developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive learning experiences.
• Foster a positive, nurturing environment using positive guidance techniques.
• Build relationships with children to support social and emotional growth.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state/local standards and health/safety procedures.
• Assist with kitchen and janitorial duties as applicable.
• Communicate effectively with families and encourage parent involvement.
