Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc. seeks an Early Interventionist/Infant Development Specialist (IDS) to provide home-based services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays in Napa/ American Canyon, CA. Expect to work within a close-knit team of OTs/STs/IDSs serving the San Joaquin County area.

Ideal candidates have experience with 0–3 development and knowledge of typical/atypical development. Bachelor's degree required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in early intervention working with children ages 0–3.
• Experience working with children in a home environment is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field (Master's preferred)

Responsibilities

• Designing learning environments and activities to promote development across cognitive, communication, motor, self-help, and social domains.
• Curriculum planning to achieve IFSP outcomes for infants/toddlers with disabilities.
• Conducting assessments and writing detailed developmental reports for children on caseload.
• Coaching families to support child development in the home setting and collaborate with parents as experts.
