Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc. is seeking an Early Interventionist/Infant Development Specialist to work with infants and toddlers (0–3) in Vallejo, American Canyon, and Napa. The role involves home visits, developmental assessments, and family coaching within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Child Development or related field, with at least one year of relevant experience. Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in early intervention with children 0–3.
• Experience working in home environments is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or closely related field; master’s preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design learning environments and activities promoting developmental skills across cognitive, communication, motor, self-help, and social areas.
• Plan curricula and coordinate personnel, materials, time and space to meet IFSP outcomes.
• Conduct assessments and write detailed developmental reports for children on caseload.
• Coach and support families to enhance child development while empowering parents as experts.
