Job summary

AVANCE San Antonio is seeking a dedicated individual to support and educate parents through a home-based program. This role involves teaching caregivers how to create educational toys and developing individualized family plans, focusing on child development and nutrition.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA, preferably bilingual and experienced in childcare settings. The position offers a chance to impact families positively and engage in a dynamic working environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA with at least 18 hours of early childhood development.
• Minimum of six months in a licensed childcare facility or early childhood program.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and facilitate learning in a home-based program.
• Collaborate with parents to develop individualized family plans.
• Plan and facilitate child-centered educational activities.
