Job summary

Abound Health in Aaronsburg, PA is seeking Home-Based Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. The role offers flexible hours and pays $17.00-$25.00 per hour, plus a $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates.

As a DSP you will help with daily living tasks, skill development, recreation, and documentation. Training is provided; one year of caregiving preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of caregiving experience preferred (not required - training provided).
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance.
• At least 18 years old and HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities.
• Help with daily living tasks and personal care needs as required.
• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
