Sobe Innovative Rehab seeks a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled OT services in patients' homes on a PRN basis in Okeechobee, FL. This role emphasizes compassionate geriatric care and independence in the home.

You will work with older adults, perform one-on-one home visits, document care, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure quality outcomes in diverse home settings.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited OT assistant program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to working with geriatric patients.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home.
