Job summary

Assistance Plus is seeking a Daily Living Support Specialist to assist adults with behavioral health needs at home and in the community. You will help clients maintain independence, follow their plan of care, and ensure safety and emotional well‑being during daily activities.

The role requires travel within a 30‑mile radius, a valid Maine driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and basic computer/email access. Training toward MHRT/1 is provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Entry level computer experience and must have access to email/internet.
• MHRT/1 certification—training provided at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Monitor consumers' ability to function independently in home and community.
• Ensure the plan of care drives all service activities.
• Maintain client safety and emotional well‑being in homes and communities.
• Attend at least four hours per month of clinical supervision.
• Complete a minimum of 20 training hours annually.
• Travel within 30 miles of home and transport clients as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
