Job summary

Assistance-Plus in Maine is hiring a Daily Living Support Specialist to assist adults with behavioral health needs at home and in the community. The role focuses on enabling independence while monitoring safety and emotional well‑being, with travel within a 30‑mile radius of the employee’s home.

The position offers MHRT/1 certification training at no cost, a flexible schedule, paid travel time and PTO. A valid Maine driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Proof of vehicle insurance and a valid Maine driver\'s license are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• MHRT/1 certification (we will train you at no cost) is required or available.
• Entry level computer experience and access to email/internet are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the client\'s plan of care drives all service activities.
• Ensuring the safety of clients in homes and communities.
• Attending and participating in a minimum of four hours per month of clinical supervision.
• Accumulating a minimum of 20 hours of training annually.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

The Daily Living Support Specialist (DLSS) carries out services that focus on the specific needs of adults with behavioral health diagnoses.
