Job summary

Sears Home Services seeks an Appliance Repair Technician. No experience required; we train you on the job and place you in customers’ homes to diagnose and fix appliances. You’ll learn hands-on, gain mentorship, and start earning immediately.

Starting at $19/hr with growth to $32+/hr, plus paid training, a company vehicle or use of your own, and full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k) with match). Flexible hours help balance income and schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Mechanical aptitude or comfort with using tools.
• Comfortable using an iPhone and mobile apps.
• Physically able to lift 100 lbs and move throughout the day.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the trade.
• EPA Certification is a plus; assistance to obtain it will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes to diagnose and repair appliances (fridges, washers, dryers, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical issues
• Deliver expert, friendly service in customers' homes
• Use mobile tech for updates and part orders
• Recommend simple solutions to protect appliances (earn extra $)
• Keep tools and vehicle organized (company-provided or personal)
