Job summary

Best Buy is hiring an Appliance Delivery Helper (Deliver Experience Cadet) in Sparks, NV. You will assist with delivery, installation, repair, and haul-away of appliances and electronics, helping determine best installation methods and ensuring safe routes for major items.

You’ll lead parts of installations, provide product placement advice, and collaborate on inventory and vehicle maintenance while processing paperwork and payments.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service, sales, installation, or large product delivery experience
• Current, valid driver's license
• Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy's safety standards
• Ability to lift 350 pounds individually or 700 pounds as a team with tools
• Be at least 21 years old
• Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Attend to appointments individually or lead a two-person crew up to 30% of the time, performing basic installation/repair of home theater equipment and appliances
• Determine best way to bring major appliances into homes and final locations, including measurements and protecting routes
• Remove and re-install doors and panels as needed
• Provide a seamless client experience with advice on product placement and services
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance with the team
• Process paperwork and payment, provide feedback to store teams and complete in-store repairs
