Pivotal Health is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Holter Technician to support our cardiology services in Lone Tree, Colorado. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals who enjoy working directly with patients, utilizing cardiac monitoring technology, and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.

As a Holter Technician, you will play a critical role in the collection, management, and transmission of ambulatory cardiac monitoring data while ensuring an outstanding patient experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Attach ECG electrodes and ambulatory cardiac monitors (Holter monitors) to patients
  • Provide patient education on monitor use, symptom documentation, wear-time requirements, and basic troubleshooting
  • Ensure accurate patient setup and data collection for physician review
  • Support urgent same-day monitoring requests from cardiologists and healthcare providers
Data Management & Documentation
  • Upload, process, and route Holter monitor recordings to ordering physicians
  • Document patient interactions and urgent findings within Epic/Health Connect
  • Monitor overdue device returns and communicate with patients regarding retrieval
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, patient confidentiality standards, and organizational policies
Scheduling & Administrative Support
  • Schedule Holter monitor appointments and coordinate patient follow-up
  • Manage incoming calls, voicemails, and provider communications
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, clinic staff, and patients through phone, email, and Microsoft Teams
Equipment Management
  • Maintain Holter monitor inventory and equipment readiness
  • Identify, document, and escalat[e] device malfunctions or technical issues
  • Coordinate equipment repair and replacement when necessary
Qualifications
Required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and patient communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a clinical environment
  • Strong computer skills and comfort working with healthcare technology
  • Commitment to patient privacy, professionalism, and quality care
Preferred
  • Previous experience in cardiology, cardiac monitoring, ECG, telemetry, or Holter monitoring
  • Familiarity with Epic, Health Connect, or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Experience working in a healthcare, medical office, or outpatient clinic setting
  • Knowledge of the RDX portal or comparable diagnostic platforms
