Job summary

Spa Soak, located in Bucktown/Wicker Park, seeks a friendly receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and to help manage bookings and records. You will also share information about services and maintain a calm, organized front desk.

The role supports our wellness team and may include social media content tasks. Availability Thursdays through Saturdays, with some Sundays, and compensation between $18 and $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in a wellness or spa/salon setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented and professional.
• Social media experience is a plus.
• Passionate about holistic wellness.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Manage booking appointments, inquiries, and maintain client records.
• Provide information about services to clients and explain offerings.
• Open/close the spa according to procedure.
• Maintain a neat reception and waiting area.
• Assist with related tasks and support operations.
• Assist Marketing Manager with social media content.
• Coordinate with wellness professionals to ensure a seamless client experience.
