LifeSkills Connection Inc. is seeking a Holistic Head Spa Specialist to provide client wellness services and manage head spa supplies at the Holistic Health Center in Manning, IA.

This part-time, non-exempt position reports to the Holistic Health Operations Manager. Responsibilities include performing scalp spa treatments, assessing client needs, educating clients, handling payments, and maintaining a serene, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed cosmetology credential in Iowa is required.
• Dual license as LMT and Esthetician is acceptable or preferred.
• Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform customized head spa treatments as scheduled by Wellness.
• Assess scalp/hair conditions to advise services and products.
• Explain services and educate clients on scalp care.
• Maintain hygienic treatment environment and organize rooms.
• Handle payments and accurately document transactions.
• Order head spa supplies and manage inventory.
• Provide front desk support when needed.
• Coordinate with Holistic Health Manager to complete tasks.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy compliance in processes.
• Assist with center upkeep and patient-focused care.

Job description

Position: Holistic Head Spa Specialist

FLSA Status: Part - Time Non-Exempt

Reports To: Holistic Health Operations Manager

POSITION Description:

Responsible for providing clients Wellness Services at Holistic Health. Responsible for the coordination of head spa supplies and help with the overall upkeep of the Holistic Health Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform customized head spa treatments including scalp massage, cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration as scheduled by the Wellness department
• Assess clients’ scalp and hair conditions to recommend appropriate services and products
• Assist clients in understanding the services provided by Holistic Health
• Help with the cleaning of the Holistic Health Center
• Help with the payments of Holistic Health Services
• Responsible for ordering all head spa supplies and products for Holistic Health
• Clean and organize rooms between clients; Including sterilizing equipment and replenishing supplies
• Maintain a serene and hygienic treatment environment
• Provide Front Desk Support as needed
• Educate clients on scalp care routines and product usage as well as answer client question
• Accurately collect and document money transactions
• Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes
• Coordinate with the Holistic Health Manager to ensure that all Wellness tasks are being completed

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Iowa

• Dual-licensed LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist)/Esthetician
