Job summary

LifeSkills Connection Inc. in Manning, Iowa, is seeking a Full-time Licensed Massage Therapist to provide massage therapy services to our established clients.

This role offers a dedicated massage room, scheduling/front desk assistance, laundry service, and access to the Center's other holistic services. The position requires a current Iowa license and availability in the evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice Massage Therapy in Iowa.
• Evening & Weekend availability required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial health history, assessment and evaluation of client.
• Practice appropriate massage techniques for clients.
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment room and sterilize equipment.
• Handle money transactions and assist with payments for services.
• Provide Front Desk support as needed and coordinate with management.
• Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes.
• Assist clients in understanding the services provided by Holistic Health.
• Participate in cleaning and upkeep of the Holistic Health Center.
• Coordinate wellness tasks with the Holistic Health Manager.

Position: Full-time Licensed Massage Therapist

Reports to: Holistic Health Operations Manager

Position Description:

Responsible for providing Massage Therapy services to established clients (with a wait list!) at Holistic Health.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Practice appropriate massage techniques for clients
• Perform and document initial health history, assessment, and evaluation of client
• Clean and organize room between clients, including sterilizing equipment and replenishing supplies
• Accurately collect and document money transactions; helps with the payments of Holistic Health Services
• Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes
• Responsible for the assisting of clients in the understanding of the services provided by Holistic Health
• Provide Front Desk support as needed
• Help with the cleaning of the Holistic Health Center
• Coordinate with the Holistic Health Manager to ensure that all Wellness tasks are being completed
