Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse in Celebration, FL for a PRN Day shift. You will assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural and spiritual domains and develop individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license in Florida or eligible.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate factors including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle aspects of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate and revise them.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
